1. Net Zero Carbon Education:
There is an open opportunity to develop a series of workshops in collaboration with the Makassar City Government, specifically the Environmental Department led by Bapak Ferdi Mochtar and environmental experts, to teach community members about energy efficiency practices, such as solar panel installations or sustainable gardening techniques that reduce the carbon footprint. Additionally, we can learn from the successful initiatives implemented in two villages, a project successfully led by Bapak Wangda Zuo and his team from the United States, in collaboration with the Indonesian team.

2. Integration, Collaboration, Sustainability:
A chart of how Ramahati can integrate its efforts to create a comprehensive framework for community engagement and sustainability. The diagram shows various components and their connections, highlighting how Ramahati can operate effectively.

3. Eco-friendly Marketplace (Biopac):
Hilirisasi Indonesia Maju (HIM) provides an eco-friendly marketplace on the platform www.ramahati.com, which is currently under development. Additionally, we can organize community exhibitions where artisans and local business owners showcase and sell products using Biopac packaging, promoting local entrepreneurship and eco-friendly practices.

4. E-waste Solutions:
The potential to collaborate and launch an e-waste collection program in partnership with local electronics retailers, offering incentives such as discounts for customers who bring in old electronics for responsible recycling. Additionally, we can learn from the e-waste management initiatives in Makassar led by Ibu Nyoman Anna, absorbing their experiences and best practices, while educating the community in Manado about effective e-waste management strategies.

5. Online Virtual Meetings:
Organize a series of monthly webinars featuring guest speakers from various sectors, including government and academics, to discuss current sustainability challenges and share successful case studies within the community. We have received an offer from Ibu Lily Tambunan and other stakeholders to hold an educational seminar on Biopac plastic-free packaging in the near future.

6. On-site Seminars:
Our initiative to partner with the Tourism Office of Manado City resulted in an educational seminar for the community in the coastal area of Malalayang on August 26, 2024, promoting plastic waste reduction and environmental sustainability.

7. Government Collaboration:
Collaborate with local government agencies to introduce eco-friendly packaging solutions to SMEs, ensuring that businesses adopt sustainable practices and align with the city’s environmental goals. We held a partnership program with the Department of Industry and Trade of North Sulawesi, resulting in four invitations from the government to conduct plastic-free packaging seminars for over 100 SMEs in four different locations. Next Tuesday, October 15, will be the fifth seminar.

8. Private Sector Partnerships:
Collaborate with hotels, hospitals, SMEs, and local school canteens to provide eco-friendly packaging and other suitable products made from Biopac materials. These partners can offer incentives, such as discounts or promotions, to customers, staff, and students who use these sustainable packaging solutions, encouraging eco-friendly practices in their operations. We have partnered with local hotels, such as Grand Luley, which purchases our rice straws and bamboo utensils. So far, we have visited approximately 8 hotels in Manado.

9. School Education Programs:
We are introducing a “Green School” or “Plastic-Free Generation” initiative in local schools where students participate in eco-clubs, learning about sustainability practices, eco-friendly product applications, and waste reduction campaigns. We successfully conducted a sustainability workshop with Don Bosco Middle School on September 18, 2024.

10. Community Engagement:
We plan to organize an annual “Sustainability Day” event where community members can participate in various activities, including clean-up drives, sustainability workshops, and informational booths, fostering community spirit and collaboration. We participated in the celebration of Indonesia's 79th Independence Day last August in collaboration with Hotel Grand Luley.

Potential Output
By implementing these actions, Ramahati can create a real impact within the community. Each initiative not only addresses specific sustainability challenges but also encourages active participation and collaboration among stakeholders. Strong partnerships with the Makassar team and the U.S. team enhance this approach, as we now work as one unit to accelerate our efforts towards a sustainable Earth.
This is why Ramahati exists—to unite us in one heart. The name SEHATI, which means "One Heart," has now been changed to Ramahati. This collective effort promotes the creation of an environmental responsibility culture and advances sustainable future goals for all.
Collaborative action is the key to succeed.
